The website and discord group were created for patients to gather and discuss issues they may be facing. Since then, we joined the
Cannabis Industry Council, meaning we are able to take patient complaints and issues directly to those making the decisions to help get answers and resolutions for patients.

There is a growing number of people, behind the scenes, doing a great job to make what we do at the MCPA possible.
Our aim is to raise more awareness around medical cannabis and normalise its use, offer a safe space for patients to interact with each other, drive for lower prices, raise standards, and bring together patients and industry insiders.

  • MCPA WEEKLY MEETING

Once a week, on a Wednesday, we hold our weekly meeting for patients to raise issues and discuss how medical cannabis is working for them.

Our MCPA weekly meetings are held on Wednesdays at 6pm on Zoom.

  • VAPE & CHILL

Twice a week, we hold our Vape & Chill, for patients to get together on Zoom for a relaxing vape together, whilst meeting other members of the medical cannabis community.

Our Vape & Chill’s are held on Friday’s and Sunday’s at 2pm on Zoom.

  • INDUSTRY REP Q & A

Once a month, we hold our Industry Rep meetings, to connect the industry to patients for Q&A, and to discuss issues we may have.

Our guests vary from month to month, and we’ve already had a vast array of guests.

Our industry rep meetings are held on the 1st Monday of each month at 6pm.

“I started medical cannabis about 3 months ago and my experience, despite a few delays, has been mostly a positive one.
I have been prescribed for general anxiety disorder, depression and insomnia and its helped me immensely. I find having different strains for the night does wonders for my sleep. Enough so that i have been able to drop my NHS provided sertraline and flupentixol altogether after 10 years of relying on it.
I haven't slept this well in years and my mental health feels so much more manageable. I'm spiralling in to panic far less than I used to and taking less time off work.”

“Medical cannabis saved my life, I had suffered for years and self medicated with alcohol and opiates to the point of no hope. All the NHS medicines I tried just did not work for me.

Cannabis gave me my life back and I've now been sober for over 8 years.”
